Project background：
Serbia is developing rapidly in infrastructure construction and the construction industry, and the demand for high-quality plastic pipes is growing. Plastic PERT pipes are widely used in building water supply and drainage, floor heating and other fields due to their good temperature resistance, flexibility and chemical corrosion resistance. However, the local original pipe production equipment is difficult to meet the rapid expansion needs of the market in terms of production capacity and product quality. With many years of R&D and manufacturing experience in the field of plastic extruders and a good market reputation, our company has successfully won the favor of Serbian customers. The two sides reached a cooperation and started this significant project.
Solution
- Customized screw and temperature control system: In view of the adaptability of raw materials, our technical team conducted in-depth research on the characteristics of local plastic raw materials in Serbia and customized a special screw structure for the extruder. The screw adopts advanced mixing technology, which can effectively disperse and plasticize raw materials with different properties to ensure the uniformity of materials during the extrusion process. At the same time, the temperature control system has been optimized and upgraded, equipped with high-precision temperature sensors and intelligent temperature control instruments, which can automatically adjust the heating temperature according to the real-time status of the raw materials, accurately control the temperature curve during the extrusion process, and ensure the stability of product quality.
- Optimize extrusion process and mold design: In order to achieve a balance between production capacity and quality, the technicians have made fine adjustments to the extrusion process through a large number of experiments and simulation analyses. The screw speed, traction speed and head pressure of the extruder are optimized to make the extrusion process more stable and efficient. In terms of mold design, an advanced streamlined design concept is adopted to reduce the flow resistance of the material in the mold and ensure the uniformity of pipe extrusion. At the same time, it is equipped with an online wall thickness monitoring and automatic adjustment system, which can monitor the wall thickness changes of the pipe in real time and adjust the extrusion gap of the mold in time to ensure that the dimensional accuracy of the pipe meets the standard requirements.
Operation effect：
- After installation and commissioning, the plastic PERT pipe extruder was successfully put into production in the factory of the Serbian customer. During the trial operation phase, the equipment showed excellent performance. At the same time, the equipment is extremely stable during operation, which saves customers a lot of maintenance costs and downtime, and has been highly praised by customers.
